FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long are your programs?
Each show runs about 45 minutes. Mr. Orleans can accommodate school schedules which require the program to be shortened. If Mr. Orleans is performing two programs at your school, he'll require a 15 minute break to reset his props between shows.
What are your technical requirements?
If Mr. Orleans will be performing for less than 150 students per show, children can sit on the floor or in chairs. If he will be performing for more than 150 students, it's best if you meet one of the following technical requirements:
1. Have a stage or risers set up so he's elevated so your students can see the magic. Minimum acceptable dimensions are 8' x 16'. If stage is more than a foot high, please have steps available so children are safe as they join Mr. Orleans on stage to help.
OR
2. Let students sit in bleachers. Mr. Orleans will perform on the gym floor.
In addition, Mr. Orleans needs 4 chairs.
If Mr. Orleans is performing on a stage, have the building engineer replace any burned out stage lights before show time.
Do you need a microphone?
A microphone is required for middle school, junior high and high school programs or if you have more than 400 students per show.
How long do you need to set up your show?
Mr. Orleans can set up the show in 15 minutes. Please have the performing space free of desks, chairs, music stands, etc. before he arrives. He can strike his show in ten minutes.
When will Mr. Orleans arrive at the school?
30 minutes before the first show is scheduled to begin
